Found your site while searching for something in Jax (my hometown) was really curious as to how something in SF (and that I can see from my kitchen window) was related. It all makes sense now.
One thing I don't see much talked about with the tower is the effect it has on the cable TV reception of people living near it. We have to use heavy duty shielding to get a non-ghosted image. My in-laws have lived in this neighborhood since the 60's and remember it being built. I'll try to take some pics for you. They've added a HD antenna to the tower. Enjoyed the site!
