I can easily and succinctly summarise the first day at my new job…
I have an office!
Things went really well today and I am excited about this position. For the first time in a while it seems like something that may have some long-term possibilities and certainly room for advancement. Of course, tomorrow is only day two but I am looking forward to the next months to see how things develop.

That's not a picture of your office, is it?
Heh, not quite. That is a picture of an administration office at the Ohio State Reformatory (Mansfield Reformatory). It is the same office and desk used by Warden Samuel Norton in The Shawshank Redemption.
All I have to say is, offices are cool.
Even though I have to share my office, it's where I get the bulk of my work done. Have fun…
